Four Haiga by Dan Hardison

A native of Tennessee, Dan now lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he isa photographer, writer, and artist. His writing is primarily in the Japanese short form of haiku and haibun, and has appeared at Contemporary Haibun Online, Haibun Today, World Haiku Association, Haigaonline, Frogpond, Simply Haiku, South by Southeast, Magnapoets, moonset, and Modern Haiga. My current work is the Japanese haiga, where image and poem are incorporated together so that one compliments the other. It is my hope that through combining words and images you will find something for contemplation and reflection.
