Jennifer writes, "If this portfolio is about anything, it is about how earth measures time – mineral by mineral, not minute by minute. This portfolio shows earth and stone across a cradle-to-grave spectrum – the mysticism of a prehistoric petroglyph, the grain-by-grain integrity of an ant hill, the still-eroding ghosts of hills once soaked in a vast inland sea and now in the middle of the New Mexico desert, the breathtaking striations of eons-old quartz-rich desert mountains, and finally a stone wall crumbling, in its own time, back to Mother Earth."
